About Amira

Amira is a talking owl with large round eyes, two feathery tufts, and an intensely observant expression. His tiny round glasses frequently slide halfway down his beak, especially when he becomes absorbed in one of his enormous books.

As the keeper of the Dusty Hollow Library and Records, Amira protects the town’s written history. He studies old maps, preserves important documents, and teaches Sophie what the records say about the legend of the Secret Star.

Brilliant, serious, and sometimes grumpy, Amira trusts written evidence far more than rumors. His blunt manner can catch others by surprise, but his careful research and meticulous notes make him an invaluable member of the community.
