About Hank

Hank is a large purple octopus with a remarkable understanding of Korralyna’s waters. He rescues Sophie shortly after her arrival and becomes an important guide during her underwater journey.

Wise and perceptive, Hank often speaks in riddles instead of giving straightforward answers. His unusual clues encourage Sophie and her friends to slow down, listen carefully, and look at each problem from a different direction.

Hank understands that the sea cannot always be controlled through strength. Sometimes frightened currents need to be understood rather than fought, and Hank helps the group learn how to work with the water instead of against it.
